Texas A&M softball fans will once again be able to listen to select road games live locally on Sports Radio 1150 The Zone, it was announced Thursday.
In addition to the over-the-air schedule on The Zone, aggieathletics.com plans to broadcast every pitch of the 2008 season free of charge and worldwide through Aggies All-Access.
?I am very pleased that The Zone has once again chosen to broadcast quite a few of our road games for the upcoming season,? head coach Jo Evans said. ?Giving our fan base the opportunity to follow and support our program when we are on the road is something our team and staff appreciate very much.?
Included in the broadcast schedule are games against defending national champion Arizona and Women?â„¢s College World Series participants Washington and Baylor. Other Big 12 games set to be aired on 1150 AM include road contests at Iowa State, Texas, Oklahoma State and Nebraska.
Broadcasts will begin 15 minutes prior to the first pitch. The list of Aggie softball games carried on The Zone is subject to change.
