Texas A&M head coach Gary Blair and the Texas A&M Maroon Club encourages fans to come out and watch the 12th-ranked Texas A&M women?â„¢s basketball team (12-2) play on the road this season as the Aggies travel to eighth-ranked Baylor (12-1) on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 12:30 p.m. at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas.
The Battle of the Brazos matchup between the two intrastate rivals should be an exciting one as Big 12 Conference Opening Tip Week begins. Last season, the Aggies swept the Lady Bears in the home-and-home series for only the second time in league history. This will be the first of two bus trips sponsored by the A&M Maroon Club which also includes a Feb. 24 showdown at rival Texas in Austin.
The cost of each bus trip is $25 for Maroon Club members and $30 for all other Aggie fans. The bus trip package includes one ticket to the game, a snack pack, a media guide and a chance to win free prizes.
For Saturday?â„¢s game at Baylor, the bus is scheduled to depart from the Sears parking lot at the Post Oak Mall in College Station at 10:30 a.m. (please arrive at 10:15 a.m.). For more information, please contact Marty Walton at: (979) 846-3024 or mwalton@athletics.tamu.edu.
