The Texas A&M equestrian team will take on Big 12 rival Kansas State in the first of two consecutive home competitions at N.W. ?'Dick?â„¢ Freeman Arena on Saturday at 9 a.m.
Both the Aggies (7-2) and Wildcats (4-4) are coming off head-to-head matches in Waco against the Baylor Bears. A&M beat Baylor 12-8 two weeks ago on the road while Kansas State fell to the Bears 12-8 earlier today.
Saturday?â„¢s meeting will be the second between the two schools this season. A&M topped KSU 12-8 in Manhattan, Kan., on Nov. 9.
A&M leads the all-time series overall and in hunter seat and western competition by a 2-1 count. This will be the fourth regular season meeting between the two schools.
Admission to Saturday?â„¢s show is free. The 12th Man Team Rewards Program will be in attendance to stamp and scan its members. The first 25 12th Man members in attendance will receive free Crocs. There will also be free Croc and equestrian team apparel giveaways during breaks in the competition. There will also be a pony present for children to take pictures with as well.
