Texas A&M will be the No. 6 seed and will face No. 11 Iowa State on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. in the opening round of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship at Spring Center in Kansas City. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN2.
The Aggies finished the regular-season with a 22-9 overall record and were 8-8 in Big 12 play, the fourth straight year A&M has won at least eight league games. The 22 victories already tie for the fourth most in a season in school history.
