Texas A&M senior Dominique Kirk has been named to the Big 12 All-Defense Team for the second straight year by a media panel that covers the league on a regular basis. Sophomore Bryan Davis made the All-Reserve Team.
A defensive All-American last year, Kirk has started in a Big 12 record 127 straight games. In Big 12 play this season, the players he?â„¢s primarily been assigned to guard have made just 34.0 percent from the field. Kirk is averaging 8.1 points and 3.5 assists per game.
Davis started in 10 games but came off the bench 21 times. He is averaging 8.3 points and 4.8 rebounds while making 50.0 percent from the field. Davis scored a career-high 30 points with a career-best 14 rebounds in the five-overtime loss to Baylor on Jan. 23.
