The Texas A&M women's golf team carded a 313 on Saturday and climbed into 12th place after two rounds of the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the University of Georgia Golf Club.
The final round is Sunday.
No. 10-ranked Georgia leads by three strokes at 602, followed by No. 8 Purdue (605), No. 17 Alabama (609), No. 12 Kent State (610), No. 6 Arkansas (610), LSU (613), No. 9 Auburn (614), No. 1 Duke (614), No. 14 Tennessee (620), No. 15 Wake Forest (621), No. 23 Virginia (624), No. 25 A&M (317-313=630), Furman (632), Florida State (633), South Carolina (635), No. 19 Vanderbilt (637), Central Florida (638) and Kentucky (664).
Duke's Amanda Blumenherst (74-72=146) and Purdue's Maude Aimee Leblanc (74-72=146) share the individual lead.
A&M freshman Zwartynski is tied for 22nd (77-77=154), sophomore Danielle McVeigh is tied for 31st (77-79=156), sophomore Ashley Freeman is tied for 50th (80-78=158), junior Lauren Johnson is tied for 74th (83-79=162) and junior Jodi Neal is in 96th (87-94=181).
