Texas A&M men?â„¢s tennis standout Conor Pollock earned a career-best national ranking as he moved up to No. 15 in singles in the latest ITA/FILA Collegiate Rankings released on Tuesday.

Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Pollock is a returning All-Big 12 Conference performer having compiled an 11-6 dual match record at the No. 1 line for the 20th-ranked Aggies. His previous career-best was a spot at No. 23 in the March 18 rankings.

Freshman Wil Spencer (Ponce de Leon, Fla.) made his debut in the national rankings as he tied for 90th with a team-leading 12-5 mark in dual match play at the No. 2 line. Spencer is 2-1 on the season against Big 12 competition having won his last two-straight defeating No. 34 Ivan Puchkarov of Oklahoma State on March 30 and Sergey Avdeyev of Oklahoma on March 28.

The Aggies (10-7, 1-2) will continue Big 12 Conference play versus No. 15 Baylor in their final home dual match of the season at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center on Wednesday, April 2 at 6 p.m. Seniors Matt Bain (Georgetown, Texas) and Mike Beatty (Cincinnati, Ohio) will be honored prior to first serve versus the Bears.
