The Texas A&M women's golf team closes its regular season at the PING/Arizona State Invitational Friday through Sunday at the Karsten Golf Course.
The tournament is the final tuneup for A&M prior to the Big 12 Championship April 25-27 in Stillwater, Okla.
Joining A&M in the 17-team field are top-ranked UCLA, No. 3 Southern California, No. 4 Arizona State, No. 7 Georgia, No. 8 Oklahoma State, No. 10 Denver, No. 11 Arizona, No. 17 Pepperdine, No. 19 California, No. 22 New Mexico, No. 24 Stanford, Oregon State, San Francisco, San Jose State, Vanderbilt and Washington.
Competing for the Aggies will be freshman Sarah Zwartynski, sophomores Danielle McVeigh and Ashley Freeman, junior Lauren Johnson and senior Miranda Orr.
"Our players have been looking forward to this event for a while," A&M Coach Trelle McCombs said. "They love the course and feel very comfortable there. I look for us to play well and get some great momentum going into the Big 12 Championship."
