Texas A&M earned its third Big 12 regular season title on Sunday. The defending postseason champion will be the top seed in the 2008 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship, which is scheduled for May 21-25 at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City.

The Aggies will open play on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. against No. 8-seed Oklahoma, then meet No. 5-seed Texas on Thursday at 4 p.m. After a day off Friday, A&M will conclude pool play on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. against No. 4-seed Missouri.

Texas A&M finished league play with a 19-8 record, including a Big 12 and school record 16 consecutive conference victories from March 28 to May 11.

Live game action and postgame press conferences from the 2008 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship will be video streamed for free on the Big 12 Conference?â„¢s official web site, www.big12sports.com, for the second year in a row. Audio from the web cast will also be broadcast on XM Radio (Channel 241), a Big 12 corporate partner.

Past postseason championship winners include Kansas (2006), Nebraska (1999-2001, ?'05), Oklahoma (1997), Oklahoma State (2004), Texas (2002-03), Texas A&M (2007) and Texas Tech (1998).
