Texas A&M sophomore Ashley Freeman has been named Honorable Mention All-America and freshman Sarah Zwartynski was selected All-Region Team by the National Golf Coaches Association.
Freeman tied for eighth at the NCAA Championship last week in Albuquerque, the second highest finish in school history, in leading the Aggies to a tie for sixth, their best since 1982. She posted five top-25 finishes, including a fifth-place effort at the Central District Invitational.
Zwartynski finished seventh at the NCAA Central Regional and had nine top-25 finishes. She also tied for fourth at the Big 12 Championship. Her 75.24 stroke average was the fourth best in school history and the second best by a freshman.
