TURNBERRY, Scotland- Andrew Sullivan defeated Texas A&M's Andrea Pavan 2 and 1 on Friday in the quarterfinals of the British Amateur at Turnberry Golf Course.
Pavan was bidding to become A&M's second British Amateur champion and for a berth in the 2009 Masters. Philip Parkin captured the crown in 1984.
