COLLEGE STATION, Texas- The four-time defending Big 12 champion Texas A&M soccer team hosts its second annual "Aggie Soccer 101" seminar on Saturday, Aug. 9 starting at 4 p.m. at the Zone Club at Kyle Field.
Aggie Soccer 101 participants are able to dine with the A&M players and coaches as they prepare for Saturday night's Maroon vs. White Game. Additionally, A&M head coach G Guerrieri gives an interactive lecture on the rules and regulations of the game and assistant coach Phil Stephenson provides an inside peek into the game tactics of the 10-time Big 12 champs. Participants also receive a DVD of Texas A&M soccer highlights.
“Aggie Soccer 101 is a great way for the community to come and learn more about our sport and to get to know our players personally since participants will be eating a pre-game meal with our players,” Guerrieri said.
The Coach G Charity Bash gets underway Saturday at 6 p.m. followed by the Maroon vs. White Game at 7:30 p.m. Donations are appreciated at the bash, but admission to both events is free.
