A&M HOSTS THE HOOSIERS ON SUNDAY

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - No. 11 Texas A&M soccer hosts Indiana at 1:30 p.m. in one of two games at the Aggie Soccer Stadium on Sunday. Fans can soak up more action at the Aggie Soccer Invitational at 11 a.m. as No. 14 Tennessee takes on No. 2 North Carolina.

The Aggies (2-1-0) came back from a 2-0 deficit against the Tar Heels on Friday, much due to junior Amber Gnatzig scoring her first two goals of the season. A native of Humble, Texas, Gnatzig followed up on shots from sophomores Rachel Shipley and Alyssa Mautz to even the score in the second half. With the match tied 2-2, UNC played the spoiler, netting the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute.

Junior keeper Kelly Dyer played almost 53 minutes in goal and made five saves for the Aggies.

Indiana (1-1-0) comes into the contest after upsetting the Lady Vols yesterday, 2-0. Tennessee outshot the Hoosiers 24-16, but IU's Kelly Lawrence connected on a penalty kick and Liz Holby added the second goal with less than a minute remaining.

IU keeper Lauren Hollandsworth recorded her first shutout of the season with six saves.

Sunday marks the first meeting between A&M and Indiana.
