TAMPA, Fla. - Former Texas A&M soccer players Paige Carmichael, Allison Martino and Ashlee Pistorius recently participated in the United Soccer Leagues W-League Combine at the Ed Radice Sports Complex in Tampa.

The Aggies were three of 128 elite players that showcased their talent for Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) and other professional scouts and coaches.

The combine consisted of invited elite W-League players (Martino and Pistorius) as well as those selected from an open application process (Carmichael) and was part of a process of identifying players for WPS.

The trio showcased their skills for four days in Tampa and now awaits the WPS General Draft in October. WPS began forming their rosters today with the allocation of the U.S. Women's National Team players to its seven franchises.
