One of the biggest swimming & diving home dual meets in Texas A&M history is scheduled to be video streamed live across the world for free at AggieAthletics.com on Saturday.
The Texas A&M men and women will both take on defending national champion Auburn while the women will also tackle No. 12 SMU at the Student Rec Center Natatorium on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
The Aggies began live streaming meets a year ago, a project that has experienced considerable success. The site absorbed hundreds of hits for multiple meets broadcast last season, including the Big 12 Championships.
A&M is planning on video streaming the rest of their remaining home meets this year as well. The Aggie women have only a single home meet left -- a Saturday, Feb. 1, match-up with the University of Houston while the men will close out the home campaign by hosting the State Farm Lone Star Showdown against Texas on Feb. 8.
The A&M women enter the meet ranked No. 6 in the College Swim Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Top 25 dual meet poll while two-time defending national champ Auburn holds down the top spot. The Aggie men sit at No. 18 while Auburn clocks in at No. 8.
