Texas A&M Postgame Notes vs. Oklahoma State

• The Aggie offense produced a season-high 402 total yards, including a season-high 184 on the ground.

• Junior Mike Goodson's 80-yard touchdown run was the longest of his career (previous best was a 64-yarder against Baylor in 2006), and was the longest by any Aggie since an 86-yarder by Courtney Lewis against Baylor in 2003. Goodson's previous long of 2008 was a 14-yarder against Miami (Fla.).

Goodson ended the game with 112 yards on eight carries and two touchdowns. It was the fourth 100-yard rushing game of his career and the second this season. His two rushing scores also matched his single game career high, which he accomplished for the third time.

• Redshirt freshman Jerrod Johnson. Tannehill finished with a game-high seven catches for 49 yards.

• Senior Ray Guy Award candidate Justin Brantly had his best game of the season with a 54.0 average on four boots against the Cowboys.

• True freshman Jeff Fuller matched his career-high with five catches for 67 yards against the Cowboys.

• True freshman Cyrus Gray had a career-high 145 yards on six kickoff returns.

• Sophomore quarterback Jerrod Johnson had career highs in completions and attempts on 24-of-43 passing for 218 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.

• Senior fullback Jorvorskie Lane had two catches for 19 yards, which were his first two receptions of the year.

• The Aggies' record in conference openers fell to 7-6 since the formation of the Big 12 in 1996. The Aggies fell to 2-3 in road Big 12 openers since 1996.

• The 78-yard punt return for a touchdown OSU's Dez Bryant was the first allowed by A&M since Clemson's Chansi Stuckey scored on a 47-yarder in 2005.

• The Aggies' five turnovers (all in the first half) were the most by the team since giving up five against Tennessee in the 2005 Cotton Bowl. The last time A&M had more turnovers was 2003 when the Aggies had eight giveaways in a 48-12 loss to Nebraska in Lincoln, Neb.

• The Aggies opened the game with back-to-back series that ended in turnovers for the first time since the 2005 Cotton Bowl against Tennessee (38-7 loss).

• Senior Nick LaMantia, from Mission, Texas, was the 12th Man for a record 27th time against the Cowboys.

• Game captains for the OSU game were junior Michael Shumard, sophomore Lucas Patterson and senior Richie Bean. OSU won the toss and deferred to the second half. A&M received the opening kickoff while defending the west goal.
