COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M softball team closes out its fall season with a Maroon & White series this week at the Aggie Softball Complex.
The Aggies divide into two teams and scrimmage on Monday and Wednesday at 4 p.m., and if necessary, on Friday at the same time. The intrasquad scrimmage is open to the public and there is no admission charge.
The 2009 Aggies return nine letterwinners from last year's national runner-up squad and welcome five newcomers. This fall A&M battled to a 6-2 record in its eight-game slate.
The regular season opens on Feb. 6 as A&M hosts Tulsa and Texas-San Antonio in its first tournament, the Aggie Classic.
