COLLEGE STATION - The Texas A&M equestrian team has moved up one spot to No. 3 in the second edition of the Women's Intercollegiate Equestrian National Coaches Poll released Tuesday.
The Aggies (2-0) moved up one spot thanks in part to a 10-9 road win over Big 12 rival Kansas State last Friday. South Carolina (1-1) dropped from third to fourth after suffering a 10-6 home loss to Auburn.
A&M started the season with a 15-5 home victory over No. 9 Fresno State and followed that up with the road win at No. 7 Kansas State.
Auburn (2-0) switched places in the top two spots with former No. 1 Georgia (3-0) thanks to the Tigers' road win over the 2007 overall national champion Gamecocks.
