COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M senior Laura Grace Robinson was selected as a candidate for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award for women's soccer and nationwide voting begins Thursday, Oct. 16.
Robinson is one of 30 female senior student-athletes chosen as a hopeful for the award. The Houston, Texas, native qualified based her dedication and achievement in four areas: Classroom, Character, Community and Competition. She is one of two student-athletes chosen from the Big 12.
Show your support for Aggie soccer and for Robinson, one of two seniors on this year's squad, by going to the website http://soccer.seniorclassaward.com/10684/playercard.aspx and clicking Vote Now! in the upper right hand corner of Robinson's player card. You may vote once a day.
In determination of the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, fan voting comprises of 25 percent of the total, with coaches, media and sponsor votes accounting for the other 75 percent.
Winners will be announced during the 2008 Division I Women's Soccer Championships in Cary, N.C., December 5-7.
