The Texas A&M men's and womne's basketball teams officially began practice for the 2008-09 season with Maroon Madness on Friday night at Kyle Field.
Held in conjunction with Yell Practice, the event attracted more than 20,000 students. The men's team performed drills and wowed the crowd with some high-flying dunks. Senior Josh Carter and Head Coach Mark Turgeon addressed the crowd.
The Aggies play Texas A&M-Kingsville in their lone exhibition game on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at Reed Arena.
