COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The No. 11 Texas A&M soccer team wraps up Big 12 play on Sunday traveling to Boulder, Colo., to face 12th-ranked and league-leading Colorado. Kickoff is at 2 p.m.
The match will be televised locally on Fox Sports Rocky Mountain.
The Aggies (13-3-1, 6-2-1 Big 12), who are unbeaten in 16 out of the 17 matches between the teams, come off of a 1-0 blank of Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas, on Friday. It was A&M's sixth Big 12 shutout and eighth this season.
Freshman Bri Young netted the game-winner on a header off of a corner kick from sophomore Rachel Shipley. Sophomore goalkeeper Kelly Dyer earned her sixth shutout, stopping six shots.
The Buffaloes (13-2-3, 6-1-2 Big 12) are in first place in the conference with 20 points and enter Sunday's match on a six-game unbeaten streak. CU most recently defeated Drake on Friday 3-0. In the Big 12, the Buffs lost to Missouri and tied Iowa State and Oklahoma State.
A&M leads the all-time series 15-1-1 with Colorado gaining its only win, 3-2, in double overtime at the Big 12 Tournament in 2006. Last year, the Aggies defeated the Buffs 4-2 with goals from junior Amber Gnatzig and Shipley. A&M scored four goals in a 13-mintue span after going into halftime down 2-0.
A&M sits in second place in the conference and must win on Sunday to contend for its fifth-straight Big 12 regular season title.
