COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The No. 9 Texas A&M soccer team closes out the regular season against Houston Baptist at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Aggie Soccer Stadium.

The Aggies (14-3-1, 7-2-1 Big 12) go into their last home match on a two-game winning streak after shutting out Texas Tech, 1-0, and downing then No. 12 Colorado, 2-1, in overtime.

Big 12 Newcomer of the Week Becca Herrera is the team leader in assists with seven.

Sophomore Laura Grace Robinson on Oct. 8.

A BALANCED ATTACK
The A&M soccer team has had many players step up in key situations for its 40 goals and 32 assists this season. Nine different players contributed game-winners, eight have three goals or more, six post four goals or more, six tally at least 11 points and five have three or more assists each.

AGGIE RPI
A&M is ranked 9th in the top-25 polls and previous to its two wins last weekend was ranked 11th in the second release of the NCAA Women's Soccer Ratings Percentage Index (RPI). North Carolina, Stanford, Portland, UCLA and Notre Dame are listed as the top five. Oklahoma State (10th) is the only Big 12 school ahead of the Aggies in the rankings.
