IRVING, Texas --- Texas A&M senior Eric Sehn earned a record ninth Big 12 diving honor of his career after sweeping the springboard dives in the Aggies' season-opener against Missouri, the conference office announced.
Sehn, who sat out last season while concentrating on earning a spot on the Canadian Olympic team, had shared the record for career Big 12 Diver of the Week or Month honors with former University of Texas All-American Troy Dumais. Previously, Sehn had earned three honors as a freshman, and five more as a junior.
The nine-time Big 12 Champion posted a pair of NCAA zone qualifying marks against the Tigers with scores of 362.35 on the one-meter board and 348.0 on the three-meter. It was the first collegiate competition for Sehn since he finished in the top five in all three dives at the 2007 NCAA Championships.
Also receiving Big 12 monthly swimming and diving honors were swimmers Cameron Sellers of Missouri and Karlee Bispo of Texas, and diver Jordan Morcom of Missouri.
