COLLEGE STATION - The Texas A&M women's swimming & diving team climbed to No. 8 in the latest edition of the College Swim Coaches Association Top 25 poll this week.

The Aggies checked in at No. 9 in the first edition of the poll but climbed up a spot thanks to dual meet wins over No. 21 Missouri and No. 23 Kansas as well as a fight to the finish with fourth-ranked Texas at the Big 12 Relays one week ago.

Not only did the Aggies move up a spot in the new poll but so did this evening's opponent - Penn State. The Nittany Lions moved from No. 19 to No. 18 on the strength of dual meet victories over West Virginia and Richmond. Penn State has won 27 straight dual meets entering tonight's top 20 match-up at 6:30 p.m. CDT in College Station.

For the third consecutive year, Texas A&M swimming & diving dual meets are being live streamed on the internet free of charge at www.AggieAthletics.com. A&M was one of the first schools in the country to begin streaming its meets online and is proud to continue that new tradition so that both Aggie and swimming fans nationwide can follow the Aggies exploits in the pool in real-time.
