AUSTIN, Texas - Texas A&M's Colin Hoover fell in a hard-fought three-set match to Mindaugas Celedinas of UT Arlington, 6-4, 2-6, 7-6 (6), in the semifinals of the flight "B" singles draw at the University of Texas Invitational held Sunday afternoon at the Penick-Allison Tennis Center.

Hoover, a freshman from Victoria, Texas, posted a 5-2 record in singles and doubles combined at the three-day tournament, which closed out the fall season for the Aggies.

Up next, the fourth-ranked A&M doubles combination of Conor Pollock (San Antonio, Texas) and Austin Krajicek (Brandon, Fla.) will compete at the prestigious ITA National Indoor Championships on Nov. 6-9 on the campus of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. Pollock, ranked No. 17 nationally, also qualified for the singles main draw of the tournament and is the reigning ITA South Central Region singles champion.
