COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Join Texas A&M women's basketball head coach Gary Blair for the team's first luncheon of the 2008-09 season on Thursday, Nov. 6 at Reed Arena.
Thursday will tip-off a series of eight luncheon events scheduled throughout the basketball season. The preseason No. 11-ranked Aggies take on the Houston Jaguars in exhibition play on Friday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. at Reed Arena.
Aggie Athletes Involved will be hosting their annual coat drive and fans can purchase a ticket for half-price admission to the exhibition game with the donation of a coat.
Additional women's basketball luncheons are scheduled for Dec. 4, Dec. 16, Jan. 8, Jan. 20, Feb. 12, Feb. 24 and March 10. Luncheons will be held on the third floor of Reed Arena in Room 301 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Cost is $10 (cash or checks only) per person and will include a meal, video highlights of games, guest speakers, player interviews and commentary from Coach Blair. Parking for the event will be available in front of Reed Arena or in the West Campus Parking Garage.
