Softball Adjusts Schedule, Lands ESPN Coverage

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M softball team recently had several changes to its 2009 schedule, including a nationally televised game on ESPN on May 2.

The Aggies now travel to the Marriott Houston Classic on Feb. 20-22. The tournament is hosted by the University of Houston and opponents and game times are to be determined.

A&M still takes on eight-time national champion Arizona as the Wildcats join the Texas A&M Invitational on Feb. 27-March 1.

On March 4, the Aggies return to Houston for a single game against the 2008 NCAA Super Regional team at 7 p.m. NCAA Tournament team Louisiana Tech comes to College Station the following day for a 6:30 p.m. contest.

Game times for the Aggie Invitational hosted March 6-8 have also been adjusted.

The Aggies' last regular season contest at Texas was changed to Saturday, May 2 at 6 p.m. for the ESPN coverage.
