COLLEGE STATION - The Texas A&M equestrian team retained their No. 2 national ranking according to the latest edition of the Women's Intercollegiate Equestrian National Coaches Poll released Tuesday.

While the Aggies (4-0) remain in the No. 2 slot, they now share it with Georgia (5-1) as each team received 48 votes apiece. A&M lost three votes in the latest poll despite handing No. 5 Oklahoma State (3-2) only its second home loss in three years on Saturday. Georgia earned a pair of wins at home last weekend, defeating unranked SMU, 8-4, and former No. 6 South Carolina, 13-7.

Big 12 rivals Baylor and Oklahoma State continue to be ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, with both teams seeing their vote total increase from the prior poll.

This weekend's opponent, TCU, Fresno State, and Kansas State all moved up a spot in the rankings as South Carolina plummeted from No. 6 to No. 9. The Horned Frogs will bring a No. 6 national ranking into their Saturday showdown with the Aggies.
