COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The inaugural Texas A&M Women's Basketball 101 Clinic was a huge success on Monday night at Reed Arena.
More than 300 women and their spouses attended the session which also included dinner and interaction with the team. Texas A&M head coach Gary Blair talked about the keys on offense, while associate head coach Vic Schaefer spoke about defense. Big 12 Conference basketball official Scotty Hermann also added some insight on rules and regulations to the audience.
The highlight of the night included the opportunity to tour the new state-of-the-art Cox-McFerrin Center For Aggie Basketball which is one of the finest of its kind in the country. A&M radio play-by-play announcer Mike Wright emceed and the Aggie Dance Team performed at the event which drew positive reviews for another go-around in 2009-10.
