COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M women's basketball team (6-0) continues to move up in the national polls earning a school-record No. 4 national ranking in the latest USA TODAY/ESPN Coaches Top 25 Poll released on Tuesday.

It marked the Aggies' highest-ever national ranking in school history eclipsing their previous program-best of No. 5 in last week's Coaches Poll. A&M has now appeared in the top 5 of the Coaches Poll in back-to-back weeks.

Texas A&M head coach Gary Blair has now led two schools to a No. 4 national ranking. Blair previously led Stephen F. Austin, a team the Aggies ironically will face on the road tonight, to a No. 4 ranking in the final Associated Press Top 25 Poll during the 1991-92 season. Blair will be inducted into the SFA Ladyjack Hall of Fame at halftime of A&M's game in Nacogdoches, Texas.
