COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Join Texas A&M women's basketball head coach Gary Blair and the No. 4 team in the land for the second installment of luncheons during the 2008-09 campaign on Thursday, Dec. 4 at Reed Arena.
Reveille VIII, the first lady of Aggieland, will meet and greet fans at the luncheon with senior All-America candidate Takia Starks talking about the attributes, the history and tradition of Reveille at Texas A&M University.
The Aggies return home this week having put together a school-record 7-0 start of the season including six-straight on the road. They will play host to former Southwest Conference rival SMU (4-2) on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. (CT). A&M will celebrate Junior Aggie Club Day at Reed Arena, while the Half-Price Holiday Hoops ticket promotion kicks off five-straight women's home games through Jan. 3.
Additional women's basketball luncheons are scheduled for Dec. 16, Jan. 8, Jan. 20, Feb. 12, Feb. 24 and March 10. Luncheons will be held on the third floor of Reed Arena in Room 301 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Cost is $10 (cash or checks only) per person and will include a meal, video highlights of games, guest speakers, player interviews and commentary from Coach Blair. Parking for the event will be available in front of Reed Arena or in the West Campus Parking Garage.
