COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Join Texas A&M women's basketball head coach Gary Blair and the fourth-ranked Aggies for their annual 12 Days of Christmas performance at this week's special holiday-themed women's basketball luncheon slated for Tuesday, Dec. 16 at Reed Arena.
A&M will face its second top 25 opponent of the season with No. 24-ranked TCU (8-3) in town on Sunday, Dec. 21 in a nationally-televised contest on ESPNU at Reed Arena. The Half-Price Holiday Hoops ticket promotion continues through the men's and women's basketball doubleheader with McNeese State and George Washington on Jan. 3.
Reed Arena will be decorated for Christmas and Santa Claus will make a special appearance on the concourse to take pictures with little Aggie fans. Don't forget to bring your camera. Aggie Athletes Involved will also be hosting their annual Toy Drive benefiting Toys for Tots. Fans are encouraged to donate toys as they enter Reed Arena.
Additional women's basketball luncheons are scheduled after the Christmas holiday break on Jan. 8, Jan. 20, Feb. 12, Feb. 24 and March 10. Luncheons will be held on the third floor of Reed Arena in Room 301 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Cost is $10 (cash or checks only) per person and will include a meal, video highlights of games, guest speakers, player interviews and commentary from Coach Blair. Parking for the event will be available in front of Reed Arena or in the West Campus Parking Garage.
