COLLEGE STATION - The Texas A&M women's swimming & diving team continues to be ranked eighth nationally according to the most recent edition of the College Swim Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) dual meet rankings released this past week.
The Aggies sit in the eighth spot for the third consecutive poll after starting the season in the No. 9 slot. A&M has won all five of its dual meets this season while earning second-place finishes at both the Big 12 Relays in Kansas and the Art Adamson Invitational in College Station.
The University of Georgia received all 10 first-place votes in the most recent edition of the poll with Stanford ranking second and Texas third. California and Auburn round out the top five while Florida and defending national champion Arizona rank sixth and seventh.
The Aggies are still in town continuing to train until Dec. 18. After receiving one week at home for the Christmas break, they will return to College Station on Dec. 27 than venture to Miami two days later for their annual winter training trip which will conclude on Jan. 7. The Aggies will also face the Hurricanes in a dual meet in the midst of their training regimen.
