COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Join Texas A&M women's basketball head coach Gary Blair and the nationally-ranked Aggies for their first basketball luncheon of the New Year on Thursday, Jan. 8 at Reed Arena.
Blair will be joined at this week's luncheon by special guest speaker, Texas A&M head coach Jo Evans, who led the defending Big 12 champion Aggie softball team to the Women's College World Series for the second-straight season, a national runner-up finish and a program-best 57 wins in 2008.
A&M will open up Big 12 Conference play this weekend at Missouri (9-4) on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 5 p.m. (CT) in Columbia, Mo., prior to returning home to host Junior Aggie Club Night versus Texas Tech (9-4) in its league home opener on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. (CT) at Reed Arena.
Additional women's basketball luncheons are scheduled for Jan. 20, Feb. 12, Feb. 24 and March 10. Luncheons will be held on the third floor of Reed Arena in Room 301 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Cost is $10 (cash or checks only) per person and will include a meal, video highlights of games, guest speakers, player interviews and commentary from Coach Blair. Parking for the event will be available in front of Reed Arena or in the West Campus Parking Garage.
