COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Join Texas A&M women's basketball head coach Gary Blair and the nationally-ranked Aggies for this week's fan luncheon scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 20 at Reed Arena.
The inauguration of U.S. President-elect Barack Obama will be televised prior to the luncheon. Coach Blair will be joined by special guest speaker Dr. Roman Popadiuk, executive director of the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation.
A&M will host Big 12 rival Baylor (15-1, 3-0) on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. (CT) at Reed Arena, prior to traveling to Oklahoma State (12-4, 1-2) on Saturday, Jan. 24 for a 6 p.m. (CT) tilt in Stillwater, Okla.
Additional women's basketball luncheons are scheduled for Feb. 12, Feb. 24 and March 10. Luncheons will be held on the third floor of Reed Arena in Room 301 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Cost is $10 (cash or checks only) per person and will include a meal, video highlights of games, guest speakers, player interviews and commentary from Coach Blair. Parking for the event will be available in front of Reed Arena or in the West Campus Parking Garage.
