PALOS VERDES, Calif. - The No. 25-ranked Texas A&M women's golf team carded a 323 on Tuesday and remains in 15th place after two rounds of the Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge at Palos Verdes Golf Club. The final round is Wednesday.

No. 2-ranked Arizona State extended its lead to 13 strokes with a 599 total. No. 3 Southern California is in second (612), followed by top-ranked UCLA (619), No. 9 Wake Forest (621), No. 16 Denver (627), No. 17 California (629), Florida (634), Ohio State (635), No. 10 Pepeprdine (635), No. 20 Michigan State (636), Baylor (640), No. 19 Stanford (643), Notre Dame (651), East Carolina (653), A&M (331-232=654) and Brigham Young (664).
Arizona State's Juliana Murcia is the individual leader by six strokes with a one-under total of 70-71=141.
A&M sophomore Stephanie Smith (88-77=165) is tied for 59th, senior Lauren Johnson (83-84=167) is tied for 66th, junior Ashley Freeman (83-85=168) is tied for 72nd and freshman Kaitlin Hovda (87-85=172) is tied for 78th (87).
