COLLEGE STATION, Texas-Â The Texas A&M football team attended the University Distinguished Lecture Series on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Anneberg Presidential Conference Center on the Texas A&M campus.
The title of the lecture was "Integrity and Performance: Making Yourself All That You Can Be." It was presented by Dr. Michael C. Jensen, the Jesse Isidor Straus Professor of Business Administration, Emeritus, at Harvard University.
The presentation develops a positive model of integrity that provides the basis of increased performance for individuals, groups, organizations and societies. In all aspects of life, personal and business, success depends on honoring one's word, the essence of integrity. Integrity in this context is as important as knowledge and technology in advancing the well being of the individual, his or her organization and the future of the nation. As such, the presentation gives a prescription for individual access to superior performance and advantage in a competitive world. Through the adoption of this model individuals make themselves, their organizations and society in general the best that they can be.
