Texas A&M divers Eric Sehn and Cam McLean shined at the 2009 Winter Senior National Championships at the Talisman Centre Feb. 12-15 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Both Canadian Aggies medaled as the veteran Sehn earned a pair of silver medals, while the freshman McLean earned a bronze medal.

Sehn, a senior from Edmonton, set a pair of school records while finishing in second place on the one- and three-meter springboards. Sehn's 386.70 point total on the one-meter broke his own Championship meet record, but still trails his career-best score of 405.15 that he set in a dual meet. On the three-meter, Sehn dove to a career-best of 440.95, to break the old mark of 428.71 set in a dual against Penn State last fall.

McLean, from Winnipeg, opened a number of doors for his future in diving with his third place finish with a career-best score of 413.65. His performance qualified him for a spot on Canada's traveling national team, and he gained entry into a pair of Fina Grand Prix events in the Canada Cup and the Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid. McLean also achieved the internal point standard, which will allow him to compete in a variety of events such as the World Diving Trials and the World University Games Trials this summer.

Sehn and McLean and the rest of the Aggies are gearing up for the 2009 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships, which will be contested Feb. 25-28 at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo.
