Aggie Netters Climb To No. 13 In ITA Team Rankings

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M men's tennis team climbed one spot to No. 13 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) team rankings released on Tuesday.

The Aggies (3-2) are one of three Big 12 Conference teams to round out the top 15 in the country and have eight non-conference matches left prior to league competition on March 27.

Senior All-American Conor Pollock (San Antonio, Texas) and sophomore All-American Austin Krajicek (Brandon, Fla.) earned a career-best No. 8 national ranking in doubles. The Aggie duo is currently on a six-match win streak including an undefeated 5-0 mark in dual match play.

Individually, Pollock is ranked No. 14 nationally in singles followed by sophomore Wil Spencer (Ponce de Leon, Fla.) at No. 35 and Krajicek at No. 69. Pollock, a two-time All-Big 12 selection, has posted a team-leading 14-6 overall record this season including a 3-2 mark at the No. 1 line for the Aggies.

A&M will travel this weekend to No. 25 Notre Dame (6-6) on Friday, Feb. 27 in South Bend, Ind., and No. 33 Louisville (10-1) on Sunday, March 1 in Louisville, Ky.
