COLLEGE STATION, Texas - It's time to celebrate yet another memorable season in the record books as the annual Texas A&M women's basketball banquet takes place on Tuesday, April 14 at 6 p.m. at The Zone Club at Kyle Field.
The event is open to the public and cost is $25 per person. Reservations can be made by calling the Texas A&M women's basketball office at (979) 845-0565 or by e-mailing DeAnna Doles at ddoles@athletics.tamu.edu. Tickets should be reserved no later than Friday, April 10. Cash, check and credit cards will be accepted.
This past season, the ninth-ranked and second-seeded Aggies reached the NCAA Sweet 16 for the second year in a row and third time in program history. A&M also put together an impressive 27-8 record including a school-record 12-0 start to the season to mark the second-most overall victories in 35 all-time seasons of Aggie Basketball.
Sixth-year head coach Takia Starks (Houston, Texas), Danielle Gant (Oklahoma City, Okla.), La Toya Micheaux (Missouri City, Texas) and Kiley Finstad (Cranfills Gap, Texas) will be honored during the ceremony along with additional award winners. A season highlight video produced by 12th Man Productions will also be shown during the banquet.
Parking for the team banquet will be available in both the Koldus or West Campus Garages as well as Lot 62. Dress attire is business casual.
