TEMPE, Ariz. - The Texas A&M women's golf team will compete at the PING/Arizona State Invitational Friday through Sunday at the Karsten Golf Course.
Joining A&M in the 13-team field are Arizona, Arizona State, California, Colorado, Denver, New Mexico, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Pepperdine, Purdue, Southern California, Stanford, Tulsa, Central Florida, UCLA and Vanderbilt.
The Aggie lineup will consist of senior Lauren Johnson, junior Ashley Freeman, and sophomores Stephanie Smith.
"We are excited about our opportunity to play another great field this Week," A&M Coach Trelle McCombs said. "I feel like we can keep the momentum going from the previous two events. I'm excited to get Porter back in the lineup and see what she can do. She's an exciting player and one that I think can really help us down the stretch."
A&M tied for seventh at the Betsy Rawls Invitational on March 22 in Austin after winning the Thompson Invitational on March 18 in Hawaii.
The Arizona State event is the Aggies' final tuneup for the Big 12 Championship April 24-26 in Lubbock.
