COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Elite Eight Texas A&M soccer team wraps up its spring season hosting Stephen F. Austin and Marquette on Saturday at the Aggies Soccer Stadium. A&M kicks off against SFA at 11 a.m. and faces Marquette at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free to the public.
The Aggies are unbeaten in their nontraditional season with a 6-0-1 record. In its last time out the team held the defending Big 12 regular season champions to five shots in a 2-0 shutout. Juniors Natalie Currie and Amber Gnatzig provided the goals.
SFA finished its season 9-7-2, while Marquette made the NCAA Tournament and lost to Minnesota, 2-1, to end its season 11-8-3. The Ladyjacks and the Golden Eagles will play at 3 p.m.
