IRVING, Texas - Texas A&M men's tennis standouts Wil Spencer were both crowned Big 12 Conference singles champions by position on Monday.

Krajicek, a sophomore All-American from Brandon, Fla., compiled a 5-1 league record at No. 2 singles to tie Jordan Rux of Baylor, while Spencer, a sophomore from Ponce de Leon, Fla., put together a 5-1 record at No. 3 singles.

It marked the first time since the 2004 season in which the Aggies had two-or-more positional winners in singles. A&M has now produced five all-time No. 2 singles champions in the 13-year history of the conference including Krajicek, Conor Pollock (2007), Ante Matijevic (2004), Lester Cook (2003) and Carlos Tori (1998). Spencer becomes only the second Aggie to claim the No. 3 singles title next to former two-time All-American Matijevic in 2003.
