HUTCHINSON, Kan. - No. 12-ranked Texas A&M carded a 16-over-par 296 on Tuesday and remains in third place after three rounds of the Big 12 Men's Golf Championship at Prairie Dunes Country Club.
At 41-over, the Aggies trail No. 1-ranked Oklahoma State (+28) by 13 strokes going into Wednesday's final round. Colorado (+31) is in second while Baylor (+43) is fourth.
A&M's Bronson Burgoon is tied for fourth (72-68-72=212) at two-over, three shots behind leader Bill Allcorn (68-71-70=209) of Baylor. Oklahoma State's Morgan Hoffman (71-71-78=210) is one shot back in second. The Aggies' Andrea Pavan (78-68-73=219) is in ninth.
"We just didn't play very well today," A&M Coach J.T. Higgins said. "We had different players struggling with different problems. We've got a lot of work to do tomorrow and a lot of ground to make up. The weather is supposed to be tough and if we play well anything can happen."

Kansas State and Kansas are tied for fifth (+54), followed by No. 15 Texas Tech (+59), Missouri (+67), Iowa State (+69), Nebraska (+72), No. 22 Texas (+74) and Oklahoma (+77).
