INDIANAPOLIS - Texas A&M's Conor Pollock (pronounced PAUL-luck), Wil Spencer were among the 64 singles players and 32 doubles teams selected to compete in the home-hosted 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championships to be held on May 14-25 at the George P. Singles and doubles competition will be conducted on May 20-25 following the conclusion of the men's and women's team championships on May 14-19. All matches shall be the best of three sets. Regular scoring and a 12-point tiebreaker at six games all will be used for all matches.

Pollock, a senior All-American and right-hander from San Antonio, Texas, is making his second consecutive NCAA appearance and is currently ranked No. 17 in the nation in the latest Campbell/ITA singles rankings released on Wednesday. He is joined by Krajicek, a sophomore All-American and No. 47-ranked left-hander from Brandon, Fla., and Spencer, a sophomore and No. 48-ranked right-hander from Ponce de Leon, Fla. It marked a school-record number of individual singles participants for the Aggies who previously had two players selected to the field of 64 in 1984, 1985, 2003 and 2005.

Pollock and Krajicek were also one of eight top seeds in the doubles bracket and are currently ranked No. 7 nationally. The All-American tandem became the first Aggie duo in school history to reach the semifinals of the NCAA Doubles Championship in 2008. They have put together a 26-8 overall record including an impressive 18-4 mark in dual matches this season.
