INDIANAPOLIS - No. 13-ranked Texas A&M will be the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Men's Golf West Regional May 14-16 at the Lake Merced Golf Club in Daly City, Calif.

The top five teams from each of the six regionals will advance to the NCAA finals May 26-30 at the Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio.

A&M has advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 30 of the last 35 seasons, including seven straight under Coach J.T. Higgins. The Aggies finished seventh at the Central Regional last year in Columbus, Ohio, and placed 12th in the finals in West Lafayette, Ind. It was A&M's highest finish since 1984.

Joining A&M in the 13-team West Regional (with seeding) will be No. 3 Southern California (1), No. 15 Arizona State (3), No. 22 San Diego State (4), UC Davis (5), Oregon (6), New Mexico (7), Colorado (8), UC Irvine (9), Kansas State (10), Oregon State (11), San Diego (12) and San Francisco (13).

Other Big 12 teams making the NCAA field are No. 2-ranked Oklahoma State (No. 1 seed in South Central), Baylor (No. 8 in South Central), No. 19 Texas Tech (No. 3 in Southwest Regional) and No. 25 Texas ((No. 4 in Southwest Regional).
