Mountain View, Ca. - Heading into the Big 12 Championship meet this weekend, the Texas A&M women moved into the No. 1 position on the Track & Field News formchart for the NCAA Outdoor Championships. The Aggie men are predicted for a fourth-place finish.

Track &Field News latest formchart, with marks updated through May 11, have the A&M women scoring 44 points in the NCAA meet hosted by Arkansas in Fayetteville on June 10-12.
With 44 points the Aggies are currently predicted to finish ahead of Florida State (43), NCAA Indoor champion Tennessee (41), 2008 NCAA outdoor champion LSU (40) and Oregon (37). The previous version of the formchart had Florida State holding a 47-46 edge over Texas A&M.
The remainder of the women's top 10 includes the following programs - Arizona State (36), Texas (32), Michigan (29), Virginia Tech (28) and Miami (27).
Oregon, winners of the 2009 NCAA Indoor title, tops the men's formchart with 63 points followed by two-time defending champion Florida State (55), Florida (47), Texas A&M (43) and Baylor (35). The rest of the top 10 predictions include LSU (31), Texas (31), Arkansas (26), Arizona State (26) and South Carolina (26).
The Aggies will compete in the Big 12 Championships this weekend (May 15-17) at the Terry & Linda Fuller Track on the Texas Tech campus in Lubbock.
