MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Texas A&M freshman-to-be Cameron Peck, who just completed his senior year at Timberline High School near Seattle, is playing in the PGA Tour's St. Jude Classic.

Through holes Peck was 1-under and tied for 22nd.

The 17-year-old Peck, the only teenager in the field of 156. He was ahead of such Tour pros as Padraig Harrington, Jesper Parnevik, Aaron Baddeley, Justin Leonard and David Duval.

Peck, the 2008 U.S. Junior Amateur Champion, is playing in a PGA Tour event for the second time. In September, he missed the cut at the Wyndham Championship after back-to-back 71s.
