COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Registration is now available for the Texas A&M All-American Pitching Camp on Aug. 29 at the Aggie Softball Complex.
The camp is open to any and all entrants between ages 9-18 and is offered as a way to provide young pitchers with the tools, drills and skills necessary to pitch with power, precision and confidence.
Campers will receive instruction on throwing specific pitches, accuracy, increasing pitch velocity, spins and the mental approach to pitching. Campers will be instructed by a staff consisting some of the top current and past collegiate pitchers in the nation - Two-time All-American and Texas A&M Volunteer Pitching Coach, Amanda Scarborough, three-time All-American Shawn Andaya and All-American Jessica Kapchinski. Each camper will have the opportunity to train under every coach as part of their camp experience.
Two pitching camps are offered, one in the morning (8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.) for ages 9-13 and one in the afternoon (2 p.m.-6:30) for ages 14-18. The cost is $175 per session and full tuition must be received at least two weeks prior to the start of camp. The camp enrollment limit will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
