COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M's Sheri Olivier teamed with Rosalia Alda of the University of Tennessee to win the women's doubles title at the ITA Summer Circuit at A&M's George P. Mitchell Tennis Center.
Olivier, a sophomore-to-be from Topeka, Kan., and Alda defeated fellow Aggies Nazari Urbina (Tijuana, Mexico) and Stephanie Davidson (Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas), 8-6, today on the final day of the tournament.
Alda also won the women's singles title, defeating Urbina, 6-3, 6-2.
Jonathan Chang of Rice knocked off No. 2 seed and Texas-bound Benjamin Chen, 6-4, 6-2, to win the men' s singles title.
Chen won the men's doubles title with fellow Longhorn Alex Hilliard on Sunday.

The top participants in the various ITA Summer Circuit regional tournaments move on to compete in the ITA/USTA National Tournament to be held August 8-12 in Bloomington, Ind.
